That's What I'm Talkin' About 7" Single

In the spring of 1999, Minneapolis DJ Christian Fritz wasn’t looking to start a label. He was spinning disco house around Minneapolis, New York’s East Village, and was about to make his first trip to London. He produced a track in a friend’s apartment with Lord Ludicrous of Minneapolis band The Sandwiches on vocals, and wanted to surprise friends with a 7″ vinyl pressing. Christian was listening to a lot of 1970s R&B on the Philadelphia International label at that time, so when it came to putting a label on his own record, he thought about how he was broke and living in Minneapolis. HHence, with a pressing of 300 copies, mpls ltd was born!
