The Field Mice were a seminal indie pop band from London, active from 1987 to 1991, and are widely regarded as the flagship act of the influential Sarah Records label. Formed by Bobby Wratten (vocals, guitar) and Michael Hiscock (bass), the duo was later joined by Harvey Williams (guitar), Anne Mari Davies (vocals, keyboards, guitar), and Mark Dobson (drums), evolving into a full band. Their music, characterized by jangly guitars, heartfelt lyrics, and a lo-fi aesthetic, played a pivotal role in defining the "twee pop" genre.
